Insurance Shinanigans by Frobman Insurance Shinanigans by Frobman
You know those adverts where somebody is in a crisis, then some stranger just appears in their homes with the answer? Now think about this: why don't they react to this stranger who's a potential thief or madman, instead of just let them do whatever they came to do? Realistically, nobody would react like that.

The More You Know...!

Alt. Ending: Shake down the woman for extra money.

So you see, it CAN solve some problems. Only to open up new ones to you. :U

Unless she had no money on her. Well, he'd still get satisfaction chasing her down either ways.

Yeah, that's a much more logical reaction. :P

Hm, I remember I saw a parody sometime, where the subject in question was entirely helpless against an anonymous bodyless voiceover;

whenever that person tried to go away, or throw the advertised product out of the window, she and the product would reappear in the same place over and over again, untill she complied.

Yup! Nobody would stand there and think "Wow, a random stranger appeared in my household and is giving me a magic product/solution to help me!" at all.

You can't escape the advertisement! That also sounds like the parody Cheerios 2 ad made by Doug Walker. [link]

You get these things also with Vanish Oxy Action, not one mother seems to mind the woman in Pink suddenly popping up in the house and starts cleaning your stuff while you didnt ask for it

Here in ecuador there's an abudance of comercials with this same theme ^^ Like one of "Bonella" butter. It's something like this:

"Do you hate to start a new year without money? No probs! Here's the solution! The "hide from the debts" kit! Includes disguises to avoid being recognised!"-and there appears a family disguised like Mariachi's saying "casa equivocada cuate"

I love this kind of comercials but your cartoon is even better than them ^^

One just begs to question why they do all that kind of stuff, let alone manage their way in a person's home.
Ta!

Heh, yeah... that's certainly true! :XD:
One might also ask the same about talking cartoon-phones that randomly show up and give you the number of a loan-company you never previously heard of, even letting you call them up on it!

I always thought of that when i watch those 'Vanish' ads. Your clothes get dirty and some random woman comes in with detergent. These people probably should get their locks sorted.
Good comic mate.

That, and what were they doing there in the first place? Were they stalking people with potential dirt accidents, or what?

Thanks, Luke!

seems we have the same minds about these things Frob.. :XD:

Just like with Pokemon.. have you ever thought about it that in the game you fight wild pokemon and sometimes not catching it.. and after fighting for a long time against wild pokemon in one area.. that there are LOADS of passed out pokemons in the forest? :XD:;

Oh yes!

There's that, and a mafia crew who wouldn't use force or guns or whatever, but instead have Pokemon battles instead, as it's SERIOUS BUSINESS!!! And once beaten, they just don't do anything about it, but just wallow about their defeat from a badass kid trainer.
