You know those adverts where somebody is in a crisis, then some stranger just appears in their homes with the answer? Now think about this: why don't they react to this stranger who's a potential thief or madman, instead of just let them do whatever they came to do? Realistically, nobody would react like that.
Hm, I remember I saw a parody sometime, where the subject in question was entirely helpless against an anonymous bodyless voiceover;
whenever that person tried to go away, or throw the advertised product out of the window, she and the product would reappear in the same place over and over again, untill she complied.
Yup! Nobody would stand there and think "Wow, a random stranger appeared in my household and is giving me a magic product/solution to help me!" at all.
You can't escape the advertisement! That also sounds like the parody Cheerios 2 ad made by Doug Walker. [link]
You get these things also with Vanish Oxy Action, not one mother seems to mind the woman in Pink suddenly popping up in the house and starts cleaning your stuff while you didnt ask for it
So you see, it CAN solve some problems. Only to open up new ones to you. :U
